EFCA, Taxes, Regulation, Pelosi, Reid, Unions, Obama

EFCA, Taxes, Regulation, Pelosi, Reid, Unions, Obama; combined equals we lose.

I will come right to the point. We have all the evidence we need to know, not just think, but know, that an Obama presidency will be bad for business, and the country. The polls should be overwhelmingly against Sen. Obama. So why is this even a race? Why are business owners ignoring what they know? My only guess is because they want to.

Union organizing over the last few months is down. Why? Because every free resource they have is working on the ground to get Sen. Obama elected, and because every spare dollar is being spent on his campaign. A group, organized Labor, that represents less than 8% of the private sector workforce, is trying to buy a President. In return, they get the fraudulently named Employee Free Choice Act, which takes away an employee's right to a secret ballot vote on whether he gets a union, or not. They can achieve by legislation what they could not achieve by employees exercising their right to secret ballot choice.

Everyone knows that Sen. Obama is the most liberal person in the Senate. Senator Biden is #3. Harry Reid is close behind. We all know where Pelosi stands. We know who gets Union money and resources. So why, when we know liberalism is bad for our economy, do we not see Sen. Obama losing badly? My guess is because we want to ignore the facts.

Do you want a union in your business?

Do you want Right To Work laws abolished?

Does your business, or you, need to pay more taxes?

Can you afford to comply with more and more onerous regulations?

What if Biden and Hillary are right about Obama? I have not heard alot of support coming from the Hillary camp. In fact, it appears to be just the opposite. And Biden has been tied to a teleprompter.

Can your business stand a risk to National security? Will Obama throw Israel off the bus, and open another crisis in the Middle East? Who will stand with Israel?

Are you old enough to remember the 4 years of Jimmy Carter? Carter was a wimp compared to what Obama can do to this country.

We have about 48 hours to wake up and smell the socialism! So you hate Bush. He's not running. And anyone who believes McCain is the same as Bush is just ignoring reality. The important thing about change is not what you are moving from, but what you are moving toward.

On Tuesday, cast a vote for your business, cast a vote for your employees, cast a vote for reason!

On Tuesday, vote for John McCain, vote for preserving our National secuity, vote for our economy, and vote for integrity. Vote with your intellect, and Sen. Obama loses!

All Is Not Bleak

Some good thoughts although I do not think all is that bleak. President-Elect Obama's performance thus far has been impressive, assembling a bright and capable team -- that has impressed many conservative writers and commentators. It now looks as though he will lead to center left and with respect to reviewing the effectiveness of existing spending programs -- he may even move center right.

The true test is time. The GOP has been a disaster for healthcare, and their spending on non-defense/non-way programs has been the highest in our history, outstripping FDR and LBJ, according to the WSJ. As a former supporter and campaigner for former President George H.W. Bush, I am amazed and appalled at the last eight years.

People are hopeful. Time will tell.
